Women in Philanthropy Ghana (WiP Ghana) brings together philanthropists, donors, social investors, and social entrepreneurs from Ghana and the diaspora who are committed to driving transformative social change. We create an inclusive and collaborative platform where women leaders can connect, learn, and amplify their collective impact.
Building Capacity
Our work focuses on strengthening the capacity and influence of women in philanthropy through peer learning, leadership development, mentorship, and professional training. We equip members with the knowledge, networks, and resources needed to design and implement sustainable solutions to some of Ghana’s most pressing social and community challenges.
Platforms for Change
Through our flagship Annual Conference during Ghana Philanthropy Week, alongside workshops, networking forums, advocacy initiatives, and resource mobilization efforts, WiP Ghana fosters strategic partnerships between women changemakers, local communities, institutions, and global partners. We champion gender-lens philanthropy and advocate for increased representation of women in leadership and decision-making spaces, while celebrating the stories, innovations, and contributions of women philanthropists and social entrepreneurs across Ghana and beyond.
