About WiP
is a women-led network comprising passionate people and organisations active in philanthropy and social entrepreneurship in Ghana and the diaspora. WiP- Ghana focuses on bringing together women in the sector to connect, learn, collaborate, inspire, and empower other women to increase impact in their communities.
The Centre for Strategic Philanthropy and Social Investment (CESPSI), Philanthropy Ghana and the Sarfoa Foundation and Women in Arts, Tourism and Hospitality (WATH) Hub are the Founding members of WiP-Ghana. WiP-Ghana has its Secretariat at the Centre for Strategic Philanthropy and Social Investment (CESPSI), Pentecost University.
We envision a world where women and girls to thrive, reach their full potential, and positively impact their families and communities.
Our mission is to create a community of empowered women in philanthropy and social entrepreneurship, who work together to increase the impact of women-led organisations and improve the lives of women in Ghana. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to build a sustainable fund and network that supports the growth of women-led organisations and provides resources, skills training, and grants to increase their impact in their communities.
